Can tickets be purchased at the gate?

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the gates. We recommend purchasing your tickets ahead of time (online) for better pricing. The earlier you buy, the better the deal!

Where can I purchase tickets?

On our official website or at the box office.

How will I receive my tickets?

Via email, including a QR code for check-in. Check your spam folder if needed.

I never received my tickets. What should I do?

Log into the account dashboard to resend tickets here. If all else fails, come to the event. We have a list of all orders and we can look up your tickets when you get here.

Can I upgrade my ticket after purchase?

Yes, you can upgrade your ticket at the box office, subject to availability.

Are there any fees for purchasing tickets?

Box office prices include fees and sales tax. Online purchases may have additional processing fees.

Can I change the name on my ticket?

Names on tickets are not required. Anyone can use your tickets so keep them safe.

Is there re-entry?

As long as you have checked in and have received a wristband, you can come back in.

Can I get a refund?

This is a rain-or-shine event, but we understand your plans can change! Ticket protection can be added to your order during checkout and will allow you to receive a refund for any reason. (Must be purchased at checkout for EACH ticket that you'd like to protect and cannot be added at a later time).

What happens if there is bad weather?

Stars of Texas is a rain-or-shine event, however, the lantern release is weather-dependent. We are looking forward to great weather on the event weekend.

Do children need tickets?

Children 6 and under are free. Children 7 and over will require a festival ticket to enter.

Can children attend the festival alone?

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What payment methods are accepted at the box office?

Cash and all major credit cards at the box office

Are there any discounts available for groups or military personnel?

We offer discounts for Military, First Responders, Students, and Tooele Residents. Please bring a valid ID card with you to the Box Office.

What if I need accessible seating or have special requirements?

Please contact our team at the event for assistance with accessible seating or special requirements.

Do I need a ticket for each day?

Yes, you will need a separate ticket for each event day that you want to attend, unless you purchase a Weekend Pass, which is good for all 3 days.

When do I get my wristbands?

Wristbands will be given out when you check in at registration. You will receive a wristband once your waiver is handed in and your tickets are scanned. If you ordered Priority Access, your wristbands should have been mailed to you.

What does each ticket type include?

General Admission - Access to the General Admission seating area. Ticket includes lantern kit & prayer flag (Saturday & Sunday only).

Reserved Access - Access to the gated Reserved Access area near the stage. Ticket includes lantern kit & prayer flag (Saturday & Sunday only).

Super VIP - Access to the gated Super VIP area right by the stage with a private bar, seating, food options, & bathrooms. Ticket includes lantern kit & prayer flag (Saturday & Sunday only).

What does the seating look like for General Admission? For Reserved Access? For Super VIP?

What is Priority Access?

Before the event, you'll be shipped a package filled with your lantern tickets and other fun swag exclusive to Priority Access attendees. You can read all about Priority Access by clicking here.

When will I receive my Priority Access kit?

Priority Access kits will start shipping in mid-September.

What if I donโ€™t receive my Priority Access kit?

The first thing to do is check with your local USPS to see if they can track it down. Please reach out to Customer Support and they can provide a tracking number if you didnโ€™t receive one. We typically cannot resend Priority Access kits because there isnโ€™t enough time before the event. We will have a few replacements at check-in for those who may not have received them.
